Guido
Perricone
Chairman

After qualifying as a solicitor at the City law firm Linklaters & Paines in 1983, Guy joined Salomon Brothers, London, in 1988 before moving to S. G. Warburg, London, in 1992. In 1993, Guy and three former Salomon Brothers colleagues formed a joint venture investment banking boutique specialising in the markets of Central and Eastern Europe, which was acquired by ABN AMRO Bank in 1997.

In August 2005, Guy left investment banking to become Managing Director of the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) in London. In 2009, Guy was appointed Chief Executive of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) in London. In August 2013, Guy was appointed Chief Executive and Under Treasurer of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, one of the four historic Inns of Court, and the professional home to barristers and judges.

In addition to his executive roles, Guy has held a number of voluntary roles in the Arts and Education sector. These included Chair of the Trustees the Royal Academy of Dance, Chair of the Trustees of Christ’s Hospital School Foundation, Chair of the Trustees of Northern Ballet, Chair of Roedean School, Non-executive Chapter member of Canterbury Cathedral, Trustee of the National Army Museum and Trustee of the Gabrieli Consort & Players.

Chief Executive

David is Chief Executive and co-founder of Access Corporate Finance with 30 years of investment banking experience, serving the energy and natural resource industries. He was head of EMEA Energy Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley in London from 2011 until 2014. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, David was a Managing Director at Lazard where he spent 22 years predominantly in London and in New York.

Managing Director

Rajiv Saxena is a Managing Director of Access Corporate Finance, with over 25 years of advisory and investment banking experience.  

He was Executive Director / Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at the Essar Group, India from 2005 - 2016, during which period he successfully concluded transactions in the oil & gas and metals & mining sectors in India, UK and North America. Prior to joining Essar, Rajiv was a Managing Director at Lazard, where he executed a number of corporate finance transactions in the Chemicals / Petrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals and Transportation sectors.

Alexandre
Chaverot
Senior Adviser

Alexandre Chavarot is an independent finance professional focused on delivering solutions to the challenges posed by climate change and sustainable development. He has more than 25 years of experience advising clients on project & corporate acquisitions, investments and financings in the energy and infrastructure sectors with leading investment banks, foundations and advisory firms. 
 
Alexandre is the founder of Climate Finance 2050 Limited, through which he consults on climate and sustainability-related financial issues. He is also a Senior Adviser at ACCESS Corporate Finance, a London-based financial advisory firm providing M&A services.
 
He started his career working on privatisations in Central and Eastern Europe, before joining Lazard’s corporate finance department in London in 1996. In 2009 he was appointed head of project finance and solar programme coordinator at the Clinton Climate Initiative – an endeavour of the William J. Clinton Foundation.
 
Alexandre is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment in the UK. He is a visiting lecturer at Sciences Po in Paris where he teaches climate change and finance.

Salman is a Managing Director and co-founder of Access Corporate Finance and is based in Dubai. Between 2005 – 2012 he worked in the mergers and acquisitions division of Lazard in London, where he executed transactions across a number of sectors including energy and energy infrastructure, mining, shipping, TMT and industrials. He subsequently spent 2 years in Libya, working in the infrastructure and petroleum sectors and founding an oilfield services company.

Gidney
Senior Adviser

Mark is a Senior Adviser at Access Corporate Finance with 30 years of experience in structuring and advising on debt raising activities for infrastructure, PFI / PPP and natural resources projects across the globe. He previously headed Lazard's worldwide project and infrastructure finance team, and prior to joining Lazard in 1991, he worked at Morgan Grenfell and Standard Chartered where he was involved in many of the original PFI/PPP Projects in the UK including Eurotunnel, Dartford Bridge, Second Severn Crossing, Manchester Metrolink and the Birmingham Northern Relief Road.

Senior Adviser

Mario is a Senior Adviser at Access Corporate Finance with over 33 years of banking experience spanning the energy and health care sectors, including advising on a number of complex financings (particularly those involving US and international multilateral and export credit agencies), M&A transactions and corporate restructurings.  He commenced his banking career in 1982 at Continental Illinois National Bank, and subsequently held senior positions at Lazard (where he founded the Eastern Europe M&A team), the IFC (Washington) and Natixis Bleichroeder (New York).  Mario is currently a Member of the Supervisory Board of Zavarovalnica Triglav (the largest Slovene insurance company) and an Adviser to the Audit Committee of Nova KBM, a Slovene bank.

Mourre
Senior Adviser

Marc has 35 years of experience spanning investment banking and the energy and commodities industries.

From 1986 until January 2016, Marc was at Morgan Stanley as a Managing Director, Vice Chairman of Commodities with a focus on Emerging Markets, specifically the Middle East and Africa. He was also Chairman of Institutional Securities for Africa, across equity, fixed income, commodities, investment banking and capital markets. Marc overviewed the Senior and Strategic Commodities Relationship effort with all the firm’s clients in the Commodities space: Corporate, Equity Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Governments.

Between 1981 and 1986 Marc worked as a crude oil trader at Elf Aquitane (Total). Prior to this, he also worked for three years for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Cultural Attaché in Hong Kong.

Hopkins
Senior Adviser

Clive has 33 years of experience in the oil & gas industry at Royal Dutch Shell.

At Shell, Clive held various roles as Head of M&A (London), Head of Group Project Finance, Finance Director for Shell UK Oil Products, Group Investor Relations Manager and Pensions Manager.

He was a Director of Shell Pensions Trust, the Trustee of the Shell Contributory Pension Fund from 2010 to 2018. He was Chairman of the Investment Committee overseeing assets of some £20 billion.  Clive is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.

Senior Adviser

Eiji is a Senior Adviser at Access Corporate Finance and has over 40 years experience in the global oil & gas and renewable energy industry. 

Between 2009-2014, he worked at the Clinton Climate Initiative where he was responsible for developing carbon capture and storage projects, primarily in Europe.  Prior to this, Eiji spent nearly 25 years working at BP, which he joined in 1985 in London.  At BP, Eiji assumed a number of senior management roles in the Americas, Europe, Russia and Japan, including serving as President of BP Japan between 2001-2009.

van Hövell
Senior Adviser

Haroun van Hövell is the founder of Fort Bay Capital, which is dedicated to investing across the energy industry, co-investing with partners and deploying its own funds. Mr. van Hövell has more than 20 years of experience in energy, infrastructure, private equity and finance. Most recently he acted as Head of Energy for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, where he was responsible for sourcing and managing investments across the energy industry. His prior experience includes Riverstone Holdings, 4Gas Holding, The Carlyle Group and Salomon Smith Barney.
 
Mr. van Hövell currently acts as Chairman of the Board of Directors of LBC Tank Terminals, an international tank storage operator jointly owned by APG, Ardian and PGGM.  He is also a Senior Adviser at Access Corporate Finance. Prior to founding Fort Bay Capital, he has held various board positions and has been actively involved in a number of investments, including Flowstream Commodities, Acteon, Trans European Oil & Gas, HES International, White Rose Energy, Fairfield Energy, Hestya, Cuadrilla Resources and Petroplus International.
